Phileas Photography began in 2012 with the idea of capturing the spirit of events. We spent some time working with local organisations and charities, building a portfolio of work which took us to paid work. This was an exciting time, enjoying some success and developing relationships with the community, private individuals, and local companies.
As a photography business, the past twelve months have been a huge learning curve, not only in bigger events, but finding out what people's perceptions are regarding a professional photographer, as well as acknowledging competitors in similar fields. This blog is going to be used to present an open account of our continuing journey and to give you, the reader, an insight to a couple of people who love the art, strive to better themselves, and discuss the strengths and weaknesses learned from each event.
